The Artistique Ballroom Company is owned and directed by Arica Sproul. The company was created in 2008 to offer dance to the local adult community. It quickly grew to include children and youth classes as well.
The Artistique Ballroom Company is very pleased to be located at their new studio at 1759 N Yellowstone Highway in Idaho Falls and to serve our community.
Owner / Instructor:
Arica Emily Sproul has danced her entire life and has studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, dance and drill, cheer, contemporary, and ballroom. Ballroom is of course her favorite because she feels it offers a wide range of expression with so many different dances that have different moods and styles. She studied Ballroom dance under the best in our area. She was on the BYU-Idaho Ballroom teams for 2 years and a strong ballroom competitor before she and Jerry decided to get married and have a family. She has been teaching in local programs over the past 7 years including Madison Elementary School, Rigby Junior Ballroom, Hillcrest High School, Skyline High School, and has also been a guest instructor at Boise State University. Her work experience well prepared her to start her own program with Jerry. She continues to study dance by taking ballet and advanced jazz. She recently auditioned for the Dance Collaborative, the first professional dance company in Idaho Falls and is proud to be a part of the company. Arica is best described as a knowledgable and passionate teacher as well as performer.
